That’s a wrap: Bride Tasmania’s Wedding Expo
Hundreds of brides, and even a few grooms-to-be headed to Bride Tasmania’s eleventh Wedding Expo on Sunday August 28 at Princes Wharf No 1.
And there was plenty for them to see and do – with around 80 of Tasmania’s leading wedding suppliers in attendance, helping couples plan for their upcoming nuptials. The effort put into the displays, masterclasses and competitions that were held at the various exhibition booths was amazing. There were makeup classes, wedding cake tastings, styling displays, and the chance to win a plethora of different prizes – not forgetting the usual drawcards of the wedding fashion parades, food and wine and free samples.
It wasn’t just happily engaged couples that turned out for Tasmania’s largest wedding expo. Friends, family and bridal parties also enjoyed the day on Hobart’s waterfront – with many discovering products and services they hadn’t known existed in Tasmania – such as the Kombi Keg, new ideas for bomboniere, and some great options for hens and bucks parties.
We would like to offer a huge thanks to all those who visited the Expo, or who exhibited at the event. Special mention must go to Harvey James Management for the models, to Audrey Hair for styling the catwalk models’ hair, and to Quay Day Spa for the models’ makeup. To Mel Irons for being our wonderful MC for the day. To Carrington’s Style, Hire, Design for event styling, and to Beautiful Flowers, Gifts and Garden for floral displays. Finally, thank you to the staff of Weeding Hire, Alive Technologies and Princes Wharf No 1 for making the whole event possible.
In 2017 the Bride Tasmania Wedding Expo will again be held at Princes Wharf No 1. So stay tuned to bridetas.com.au and our social media for more dates and details as they become available.
