12 reasons to hold a winter wedding
It’s winter, and in Tasmania that means ‘off-season’ for weddings. However, we’d like to challenge the notion that winter weddings are cold and miserable.
Winter weddings can be romantic! Remember it’s the season of faux fur, cosy blankets, fire pits, long sleeves, bridal boots, dark flowers, bare branches and twigs, moody candlelight, mulled wine, crisp nights and maybe even snow!
If you’re looking to hold a wedding with a difference, give serious consideration to a winter wedding. After all, you’ll often find that your wedding suppliers will offer discount rates during winter.
Remember to give your guests a heads up on what to wear, keep some blankets on hand for guests to share, and consider a coffee or hot chocolate station to keep your guests in high spirits during the day.
